Referral Partner FAQ
How much can I earn?
You earn 15% of what each builder you refer pays for their subscription, excluding GST, for as long as they stay subscribed. ComplySite may increase your rate to up to 20% at its discretion, for example based on referral volume. A rate change applies going forward only, not to commission you've already earned.
Does it cost anything to join?
No. Signing up is free. Acceptance into the program is at ComplySite's discretion.
How does a referral get credited to me?
A builder is credited to you when they create a ComplySite account through your unique referral link and haven't had a ComplySite account before. If they click your link and sign up within 30 days on the same browser, it still counts. Each customer is credited to one partner only, on a first-referral basis.
When and how do I get paid?
We calculate what you're owed each month and pay accrued commission within 30 days of month-end, by direct bank transfer. A minimum payout threshold may apply, in which case smaller balances carry forward to the next payment.
When do I add my bank details?
Not at sign-up. Once your first commission is recorded, we send you a secure, single-use link by email or SMS (whichever you chose) to add your BSB, account number, account name and optional ABN.
Do I need a password or an account?
No. Everything works through short-lived secure links. To check your referrals and commission, enter the email or mobile number you signed up with and we'll send you a link that expires after 30 minutes.
When is commission not payable?
No commission is payable on free trial periods, refunded or charged-back payments, promotional amounts that are waived, or any period where the customer's subscription is suspended or cancelled. If we've already paid commission on a payment that's later refunded, we may deduct it from your next payment.
Do I need to be GST registered?
Commission amounts are stated excluding GST. If you're registered for GST, you'll need to issue a valid tax invoice to be paid. You're responsible for your own tax obligations on commission you receive.
What am I allowed to say when promoting ComplySite?
Share your link through any legitimate channel, such as conversations, email, your website or social media. Don't make false or exaggerated claims about ComplySite, bid on the ComplySite brand name in paid search, offer to rebate your commission to customers, or present yourself as a ComplySite employee or representative.
Can I stop at any time?
Yes. You can leave the program at any time from your partner page. Commission already accrued up to that point remains payable as long as those customers stay subscribed, unless you were removed for breaching the partner conduct rules. No new commission accrues after you leave.
